fuelled by music and art. My journey began in corporate and residential architecture, but it was the fast pace of retail that truly ignited my passion.

I cut my teeth in design with the first 24-hour Engen Quickshop stores in the ’90s and never looked back. Freelancing for Woolworths SA followed, with award-winning work for brands like Vespa SA and later Edgars Melrose Arch.

I led creative on major projects for Edcon, including a 12,000 m² Sandton City store. Returning to Woolworths in 2016, I reimagined food stores and cafés, which informed my work with Luke Dale‑Roberts on The Test Kitchen update that year. We collaborated again on the award‑winning SALON in 2023 and a soft update for The Potluck Club in 2025.

In recent times, I’ve worked with a diverse roster of agencies and brands like PEP, Tekkietown, Refinery, AYANA, UnionDNM, Sneaker Factory, RFO, Neovision, Rowdy, Hans Boodt and more – guiding conceptual design and development with a focus on storytelling and impact.
