VICTORIAN GARDEN RE-IMAGINED
Working together with The Retail Studio, we redesigned Caroline Fine Flowers store in V&A Waterfront, Cape Town to enhance both customer experience and day-to-day operations, beginning with a carefully revised layout. We introduced a subtle Victorian Modern aesthetic, using small black-and-white checker tiles, an arbour arch over the main space, and timber moulded panelling to bring warmth and texture.
Thoughtfully selected vintage elements, including an 80-year-old wash basin and a swan adorned brass tap, contribute to an artisanal character and a sense of history. A deep black backdrop helps to amplify the vibrancy of the blooms and ties directly to the brand identity.
We also developed a flexible merchandising system to allow higher product density and clearer category separation, while prioritising the refurbishment of existing fixtures to manage costs effectively.
